Some backyard pool parties are casual, quiet, and relaxed… and then there are the legendary ones like the gathering of seven fabulous ladies who turned an ordinary suburban pool into a tropical photo shoot, swimsuit runway, and comedy show all at once. The sun was shining, the water was sparkling, and the backyard was filled with that unmistakable energy of summer: loud laughter, splashing water, and pure, unapologetic fun.
At the center of it all sat June Marie Liddy, positioned like the queen of the pool kingdom on her lounge chair. The pool itself had no idea what was happening one minute it was calm and peaceful, and the next, it was filled with floating inflatable flamingos, pool noodles, and a chorus of playful screams as someone inevitably cannonballed right in. The neighbors probably wondered if someone was filming a reality show, and honestly, it wouldn’t have been surprising.
